Founded in 1977 by Carl Eric Klote, Klote International Corporation has created a unique market for its upholstery products based upon molded EPS (Expandable PolyStyrene) frames.  Utilizing revolutionary techniques developed by its founder in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s in Scandinavia, this technology produces a one piece, light weight, yet extremely durable frame on which a sofa, loveseat, or chair can be built. The company is so confident in its product that it provides a 25 year limited warranty on all EPS frames.

Manufacturing facilities consist of over 200,000 square feet located in Eastern Tennessee and can accommodate very large as well as smaller quantities
